Canadian local over-the-air television stations in certain areas stopped broadcasting in analog and started broadcasting digital signals

On August 31, 2011, Canadian local over-the-air television stations in certain areas stopped broadcasting in analog and started broadcasting digital signals.

If you have rabbit ears antenna and HD TV, like Sony Bravia, or any other brand, and if you are in Toronto, you can watch, mostly in High Definition (HD), the following TV stations and programmes:

1. Global TV, Channel 41.1
2. CityTV, Channel 44.2
3. OMNI 1, Channel 47.2
4. CTV, Channel 9.1
5. CBC, Channel 5.1
6. SunTV, Channel 66.1 but stopped as of November 1, 2011. Please see below for the updates.
7. OMNI 2, Channel 57.3
